Job Summary Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the organization. Sign‑on bonus: Up to $10,000 based on eligibility. Responsibilities Implements and monitors patient care plans; records and communicates patient condition as appropriate. Serves as a primary coordinator for all disciplines to ensure well‑coordinated patient care. Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders. Assesses and coordinates a patient's discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Assessment: Uses a systematic, dynamic approach to collect and analyze physiological, psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle data. Problem identification: Clinical judgment regarding the patient’s response to actual or potential health conditions or needs. Planning and outcomes: Sets measurable, achievable short‑ and long‑range goals in collaboration with patient and family; documents data in the patient’s care plan. Implementation: Delivers nursing care according to the care plan; ensures patient safety, medication administration, and patient/family education. Evaluation: Continuously assesses patient status and the effectiveness of nursing care; modifies the care plan as needed. Care coordination: Manages timing and effectiveness of patient care from admission to discharge, including delegation and supervision. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Education: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing. Continuing education as defined within the CARE program. Experience: One (1) year as an RN. Licensure/Certifications: Valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license with ability to become Arizona licensed in 30 days. Basic Life Support (BLS). American Heart Association and other certifications as required by department. Preferred Requirements: Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Licensure/Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). American Heart Association. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
