Senior Azure Infrastructure EngineerSeeking an experienced Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer to lead the implementation, configuration, governance, and ongoing management of our enterprise Azure environment. This role is ideal for someone passionate about building and maintaining secure, resilient, and scalable cloud platforms and who is ready to set the standard for cloud excellence across the organization. We are looking for a senior-level engineer with deep expertise in Azure's ecosystem, proven enterprise-grade operational experience, and the ability to provide technical leadership across teams and to management.Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide expert guidance on the design, implementation, configuration, and governance of Azure resources, networking, and security policiesImplement, maintain, and monitor mission-critical cloud resources in a large enterprise environmentManage and optimize enterprise backup and disaster recovery operations, ensuring reliability and continuityPlan, lead, and execute cloud migration initiatives, including moving workloads from on-premises to AzureIn-depth experience working with other areas of IT such as architecture, security, development, and governanceProvide operational support and troubleshooting for production applications and infrastructureUtilize security tools such as Tenable to manage vulnerability remediation and improve security postureBuild meaningful observability solutions using Azure Monitor, Workbooks, Alerts, and related toolingDevelop and maintain robust disaster recovery (DR) strategies to minimize downtime and protect critical dataDemonstrate strong networking knowledge, including OSI model concepts, core network protocols, and network-level troubleshootingRequired Skills & ExperienceExtensive, hands-on experience with Azure services, Terraform IaC, cloud infrastructure design, security best practices, governance, and operational managementA strong sense of ownership - someone who embraces complex challenges and sees them through from design to deliveryThe ability to guide, mentor, and cross-train other engineers, fostering a strong engineering cultureConfidence in communicating technical recommendations, risks, and strategies to management and executive leadershipPreferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)Microsoft certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or similarNetworking certifications such as Network+, CCNA, or equivalent
