The Emergency Department Assistant Nurse Manager will: Be responsible for Nursing Quality Improvements activities on the unit. Assist the Nurse Manager in planning for and implementing mechanisms to encourage growth and development of staff. Report any significant changes in the condition of the unit, any incidents and/or personnel problems. Participate in unit-based research. Function as staff as needed to maintain patient safety and quality. Requirements Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required Minimum of 3 - 5 years of progressive leadership in an acute care setting High level of interpersonal skills to resolve complex problems requiring innovative solutions and the ability to negotiate in sensitive situations BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association ECG course completed during clinical orientation PALS certification required or obtained during clinical orientation ACLS certification required or obtained during clinical orientation Critical Care course completed during clinical orientation National certification or nursing administrative certification within one year in specialty specific to care provided Monday through Friday 8am to 4:30pm We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials. The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
