As the ER RN Manager guiding the Emergency Department (ED), ER, and Fast Track operations, this role supports a dynamic service line delivering high-quality, efficient emergency care, featuring a recently expanded facility with 32 private rooms and specialized, rapid care for cardiac and stroke patients. It consistently ranks in the top 10% for fast "door-to-balloon" times under 60 minutes for heart attacks. From accelerated triage to throughput optimization, the ER RN Manager will lead continuous improvement across stroke and chest pain programs, trauma-ready protocols, and coordinated care models that keep patients moving safely and swiftly. The ER Nurse Assistant Director will report to an Emergency Services Director with close collaboration from the Chief Nursing Officer, supported by an expert team of charge RNs, educators, and clinical specialists who share a Just Culture mindset. This position oversees daily operations, staffing and scheduling, budgeting, accreditation readiness, throughput and quality dashboards, and performance on core ED measures while mentoring a friendly, motivated group of nurses and a diverse healthcare professional team across pharmacy, respiratory, case management, social work, and radiology.
