Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Paraprofessional/Classroom Associate to support students in a school-based setting in San Francisco, California. This position involves working closely with teachers and support staff to help students succeed academically, behaviorally, and socially within the classroom environment.

The ideal candidate is patient, collaborative, and passionate about supporting diverse student populations.

Assignment Details:

Location: San Francisco, CA (94102)
Schedule: Full-Time
Setting: School-based
Student Population: K–12 (caseload details discussed during interview process)

Key Responsibilities:

Provide classroom and instructional support to students and teachers
Assist with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support
Help implement accommodations and behavior plans as directed
Support students during classroom activities, transitions, and daily routines
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student success

Requirements
Associate’s degree required
Previous school-based, childcare, or behavioral support experience preferred
Experience working with students with special needs is a plus
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to maintain professionalism and flexibility in a classroom setting
Reliable attendance and positive attitude required
