Clinical Associate For Pediatric Behavioral Health
The Department of Community, Family, and Addiction Sciences in the College of Health and Human Sciences (CHHS) at Texas Tech University invites applicants to apply for the part-time Clinical Associate for Pediatric Behavioral Health position. This is a part-time staff position (up to 30 hrs/week) for providing behavioral health screening, psychoeducation, and brief intervention services for addressing the behavioral health needs of pediatric patients and their families at the University Medical Center Children's hospital. The ideal candidate is versed in a bio-psycho-social-spiritual (BPSS) framework of behavioral healthcare and has received graduate-level coursework and/or continuing education related to trauma-informed care, chronic illness, grief and loss, and brief/solution-focused approaches. Experience with the delivery of individual and family therapy with a pediatric population is preferred, including face-to-face and tele-delivery formats.
