Technical Specialist

MCA, your trusted advisor for wireless communications, data, and security is seeking a Technical Specialist to support the Network Infrastructure Solutions (NIS) team in our Data division located in our Durham, NC office. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Assist in all phases of the configuration of WWAN products. SIM routers and gateways Perform firmware updates Provision routers and gateways Provide troubleshooting for configuring WWAN routers and gateways. Monitor ticket system and remote assets Interact with customers (internal and external) and vendors via phone and email correspondence Provide customer service Provide technical support Create and triage Cases/RMAs Assist in other departments as needed.

YOUR ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The physical environment requires the employee in an office/warehouse environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to frequently stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear; lift (overhead, waist level) from the floor, bending, frequently utilize near vision use for reading and computer use; occasionally move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, and frequently position self to maintain computers or other equipment as needed.
