Location BMH Bronson Methodist Hospital, southwest Michigan. Title Oral Surgeon Job Description A well-respected office-based oral surgery practice located in a university town with a strong referral base. The practice offers state‑of‑the‑art facilities including two CBCT machines, EMR, an intra‑oral scanner, and software for virtual guided implant placement. We provide full scope practice with an emphasis on dentoalveolar and implant surgery. This is a full‑time, four‑day‑per‑week position with health insurance, a profit‑sharing plan, bonus opportunities and a car allowance. Associate salaries begin at $340,000 with an integrated buy‑in over five years, a $20,000 signing bonus, and other incentives. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive oral surgical care to patients. Conduct interviews, examinations, and treatment plans to meet medical needs. Educate patients and families on wellness, prevention, and early detection. Determine referrals and order required diagnostic and ancillary services. Prescribe medications and medical treatments. Maintain accurate and complete patient medical records. Review long‑term cases requiring ongoing attention. Consult with the Medical Director and other professionals as needed. Participate in process improvement, continuing education, and patient care programs. Oversee mid‑level medical staff and nursing clinical staff. Assist in resolving patient complaints, requests, and inquiries. Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with federal guidelines and regulations. Demonstrate commitment to outstanding customer service. Qualifications Medical degree with board certification or eligibility in oral surgery. Minimum of two years of direct or internship experience. Active, current Medical License in Michigan. Current DEA and DPS registration certificates. Knowledge of professional medical principles, procedures, and techniques. Proficiency with pharmacological agents used in patient treatment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proper telephone etiquette.
