As a Line Cook in our dive bar and blue-collar restaurant, you will independently manage all aspects of food preparation and execution. You will work solo in a self-managed role, delivering quality meals in a fast-paced environment with flexible shifts, including occasional weekends. Your focus will be on maintaining station setup, inventory, cleanliness, and adhering to safety standards while efficiently handling orders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
• Set up and organize your cooking station for efficient workflow
• Manage inventory to ensure ingredient availability
• Maintain sanitation and safety compliance in the kitchen
• Control food quality to meet restaurant expectations
• Execute customer orders promptly and accurately

Preferred Qualifications

• No previous experience required; Servsafe preferred
• Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, and safety
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities
• Teamwork skills despite primarily solo work environment
• Ability to follow recipes consistently
