Wound Care/Treatment Nurse

We are looking for a skilled Wound Care/Treatment Nurse to become part of our facility's compassionate care-giving team. We are searching for a dedicated, compassionate and energetic individual to come join our team and be a vital link between our patients, nurses and other facility staff!

Weekend Part Time

The purpose of this position is to supervise, provide and coordinate nursing care in compliance with Community policies and procedures and to assess residents' care needs and take appropriate action.

Position and Schedule

• Wound Care/Treatment Nurse
• RN or LVN
• Every other weekend

Responsibilities

• Take appropriate action to assure adequate staffing to provide resident care.
• Participate in coaching/discipline, hiring and termination decisions of direct care staff.
• Supervise and assess resident care and take appropriate action.
• Implement Community procedures to provide resident care.

Must haves:

• Must have a current and valid LVN or RN nursing license or a current and valid LVN or RN license from a Compact Party State.
• Experience in Long Term Care or Skilled Nursing a Plus. Healthcare experience (Skilled Nursing) is a must.
• Certified Wound Care/Treatment Nurse A PLUS

Per CDC/CMS Regulations: The Applicant MUST be fully Covid Vaccinated. FULLY vaccinated includes 1 booster shot OR be able to provide a medical or religious exemption before hire or during the interview process.
