Freddy's is seeking Assistant Managers who are passionate about guest service, team development, and business growth at our Notre Dame campus location in the LaFortune Student Center.

As an Assistant Manager, you'll partner with the General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations while building a culture centered on quality, hospitality, and teamwork.


You'll help drive sales, profitability, and guest satisfaction while ensuring Freddy's high standards for food quality, cleanliness, and service are consistently delivered.

You'll play a key role in hiring, training, coaching, and developing team members while creating an environment where employees are motivated to succeed. Located in the heart of Notre Dame's LaFortune Student Center, you'll lead a team serving students, faculty, staff, alumni, campus visitors, and members of the surrounding community in one of the university's busiest gathering places.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Previous restaurant management or leadership experience with a proven track record of delivering outstanding guest service and developing team members
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Shift Lead, Shift Supervisor, or Manager in a quick-service, fast-casual, casual dining, or full-service restaurant
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and hold team members accountable
• Experience with hiring, training, scheduling, and employee development
• Understanding of restaurant financial performance, including sales, labor, food cost, inventory, and profit & loss statements
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Outstanding communication skills with guests and team members
• Comfortable using point-of-sale systems, scheduling software, spreadsheets, and other restaurant technology
• Passion for driving sales, profitability, and operational excellence

Physical Requirements (including but not limited to):

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts of up to 10 hours
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and occasionally use a ladder
