Engineering Intern

Support engineering projects in space systems, military systems, commercial aircraft, or technology development Work directly with a mentor in the field of study to solve real-world problems Tour Boeing manufacturing and research facilities Interact with company leaders about strategy and Boeing's future Build a professional network through social events and activities Develop skills and knowledge for a future aerospace career Work onsite, hybrid, or virtually depending on the specific position Requirements Ability to work full-time for 10-12 weeks during Summer 2027 Currently majoring in a core engineering or applied sciences discipline Enrolled at a college or university with an expected graduation date on or after August 2027 U.S. Person status required to meet U.S. export control compliance requirements Some positions may require U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Security ClearanceEmployer will not sponsor employment visa status Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above Strong academic performance Organizational and collaboration skills demonstrated through leadership positions on teams or in student or civic organizations Technical experience through projects, research, or engineering internships Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for engineering, aerospace, and a Boeing career Junior or Senior class standing preferred Applicable educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience required Some positions require ability to obtain access to a NASA facility Some positions are safety-sensitive and subject to random drug and alcohol testing Ability to work first shift Core Competencies Demonstrates strong organizational and collaboration skills, with a focus on technical experience in engineering projects and a commitment to a future career in aerospace.
