Demand Planning ManagerResponsibilities - With our consumer at the heart your key focus will be:Manage the demand planning process for assigned brands and prioritize markets for the supply plan within the portfolioDevelop demand plans and drive monthly consensus through the S&OP process for volume and revenue projections for the assigned brands, involving the key internal stakeholdersCreate and propose product allocations for brands that warrant this approachCollect past and future demand drivers and work with stakeholders to identify the impact of drivers on demand.Work with the commercial teams to gather latest market intelligence on specific customer-level demand eventsLiaise with customer service, investigation and analysis to determine short term demand trend impacts, highlighting deviations to plans and escalation into S&OEUncover risks and opportunities tied to demand uncertainties and help develop alternative business response options with the Marketing and Commercial teamsMaintain, analyze and review statistical forecast data for the assigned brandsContinuously analyze forecast performance, identify root causes for variations, and drive improvements in forecasting techniques & approachMonitor demand planning key performance indicators and performance metrics, publishing a monthly dashboard for assigned brand sell in & sell out performanceGather input from the business users and leadership team to improve system functionality, demand planning business processes and forecast accuracyInfluence forecast decisions through analysis and collaboration identifying outliers, and facilitating alignment across commercialSkills - The skills and experience needed to create your legacy:Demonstrated ability to use analytical and statistical models to analyse demand and prepare forecasts in SAP or other advanced planning toolUndergraduate degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field; MBA a plus3-5 years forecasting / demand planning experience in Food & Consumer Packaged Goods industryProven time management and multiple task management capabilitiesStrong communication skills (verbal and written) for communication across global and cross-functional teams.
