We are currently recruiting for a Mortgage Loan Processor in Stamford, CT (fulltime in-office – possible hybrid in future). The Processor will work with borrower(s) and Loan Officers to obtain all necessary documents to complete the application. Must have mortgage loan processing experience. 55K – 60K Base + per file closed bonus + Benefits Package.

Responsibilities:

• Review all documents supplied by borrower(s)
• Confirm data in LOS matches supplied documents: Income, Asset balances and details of transaction
• Review and confirm that all documents are legible and acceptable to submit to underwriting
• Order third party supporting documents to process the file: Appraisals, Tax transcripts, Condo documents, SSN verifications
• Organize and prepare loan for submission to underwriting through lender portals
• Review approvals with borrowers, attorneys, realtors, and title companies
• Ensure application meets all deadlines: Mortgage contingencies, Closing dates
• Manage rate locks to ensure loans close on time
• Manage document expiration dates to ensure files are always up to date
• Meet turn-times established by management on all files
• Keep all files up to date in LOS
• Keep Loan officer updated on all loans
• Coordinate closings with bank closer, attorneys/settlement agents and borrowers

Requirements:

• Must have previous mortgage processing experience
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Experience with Encompass Loan origination system

Local candidates only. No sponsorship. Must live in commutable range to Stamford, CT office. Fulltime in-office (possible hybrid in future). 55K – 60K Base + per file closed bonus + Benefits Package.
