Responsibilities:

• Assisting the Physical Therapist in evaluating patients' conditions and developing customized treatment plans
• Engaging patients in a variety of interactive and enjoyable exercises to improve strength, coordination, and mobility
• Demonstrating a repertoire of fun and therapeutic activities to keep patients motivated and engaged during their sessions
• Providing hands-on assistance and guidance to patients during exercises and therapeutic activities
• Monitoring patients' progress and documenting their responses to treatment
• Collaborating with the therapy team to ensure cohesive and effective patient care
• Educating patients and their families on proper techniques for home exercises and self-care

Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program
• State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant
• A dynamic and lively personality with a passion for bringing joy to therapy sessions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and their families
• Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles and techniques
• Creativity and innovation in developing engaging therapy exercises and activities
• A positive attitude and the ability to infuse enthusiasm into every session
• Exceptional teamwork and collaboration skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of patients
• A great sense of humor and a contagious smile!
