Experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician HIRING - EXPERIENCED APARTMENT MAINTENANCE TECH (FULL-TIME) - Join our awesome apartment maintenance team in Omaha! This is a hands-on job that will deal with HVAC repair, make-readies, work orders and grounds. An EPA certification and HVAC experience is required for this position. PAY: $26-29 an hour plus up to $3,000+ in bonuses throughout the year! BONUSES POTENTIAL: Up to $750 quarterly bonuses (based on site performance) SCHEDULE : M-F 8-5PM (80hrs paid time off 1st year, paid holidays) On-call 1x every 4 weeks POSITION DETAILS : In this position, you will float between our 7 properties maintenance teams and assist when and where needed. This can potentially be the last company you have to work for, . $26.00 - 29.00 an hour full-time year-round work and pay (bi-weekly) Quarterly bonus, up to $750.00 On-Call Bonus, $100.If on-call on a holiday=$50 for that day 401k match up to $4,000 a year Medical with Blue Cross Blue Shield, dental and vision insurance starting under $50 a month Life and disability Insurance Paid Holidays including your birthday or work anniversary Paid Time Off, 1 st Year = 80 Hours, 2-4 Years = 120 Hours, 5+ Years = 160 Hours 20% off rent at any of our owned communities Yearly anniversary gifts Longevity benefit-Every 5th year milestone choose a 3 week off PTO vacation or bonus check Tool reimbursement program, up to $500 per year ($250 available at 6 months) Boot and pant reimbursement program What You'll Be Doing: Ensure all work orders are completed in a timely manner based on priority Make Ready / Turning Units in between tenants Painting/Staining both interior and exterior applications Manage and adapt a preventative maintenance program Exterior structural maintenance as needed Managing coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone Snow removal (when applicable) Pool maintenance (where applicable) Housing inspection experience preferred (not required) The Experience We Like To See: 2+ years’ experience in maintenance or equivalent 6+ months experience in apartment maintenance Dry walling including painting and carpentry Basic knowledge of plumbing, sweeting copper pipe preferred Basic knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures Basic repair and/or diagnosis of appliances including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers and garbage disposal Required experience in HVAC with EPA certification and/or boiler system knowledge, air conditioning repair knowledge is necessary Pool experience with CPO certification preferred Some knowledge of water heaters both electric and gas Be able to provide great customer service to our residents Have basic safety training or be willing to go through basic training within 30/days A physical demonstration of your ability to complete job duties will be required during the interview process.
