We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with expertise in building maintenance, particularly in the areas of MIG and TIG welding, mechanical aptitude, and electrical knowledge. The role involves welding on metal, copper, and aluminum, performing preventive maintenance on forklifts, and assisting with mechanical repairs on machines. Emphasis is placed on electrical, mechanical, and welding experience.

• Perform welding tasks on metal, copper, and aluminum using MIG and TIG techniques.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on forklifts to ensure efficient operation.
• Assist with mechanical repairs on machines and equipment within the facility.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Work with high voltage electrical systems and robotics as needed.
• Collaborate with the building maintenance team on occasional tasks.

• 3+ years of experience as a maintenance technician.
• Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and electrical knowledge.
• Experience with high voltage electrical systems.
• Robotics experience and ability to troubleshoot effectively.

• Electromechanical Degree preferred.
• Experience in forklift maintenance and pneumatics.

The work is conducted in a very large, climate-controlled facility with relatively new equipment. A recent 25,000 sq. foot addition has introduced new machinery. The environment is non-food related, attracting skilled technicians from rougher environments.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $33.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
