Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM Experience: • 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months. • 22 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience. • Travel experience is preferred. • Experience with Epic is preferred. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Kansas license or compact license (required for submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted. • COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted. • No current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Ardent Health. Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Additional Details: Required Skills/Experience: Required Skills: Work Settings, Med/Surg Preferred Skills/Experience: -Previous Charge Experience: Preferred -Preferred Skills: Accessing/Managing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Nasal Cannula, Colostomy/ileostomy management/care, Feeding tube care and management, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Heparin, Insulin, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Wound Care/Wound Vac, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure, Telemetry - remote monitoring Shift & Scheduling: Option of 36 or 48 hours per week. - Some weekends required. - Variable weekend schedule, same as unit staff. Floating Requirements: Float to like units within scope as needed based on facility needs.
