As an Apprentice Electrician, you will work under the guidance of a Journeyman or more senior level Electrician to assist in the installation, alteration, addition and/or repair of electrical systems on commercial work sites. The ideal candidate should work from a position of "Safety First Always" and utilize all safety equipment and training provided to ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations.

Requirements

Core Responsibilities:

• Gather & prepare necessary tools & materials to be used at job site
• Maintain a clean & safe work area & secure material, tools & equipment in appropriate storage areas at the end of the work day
• Utilize hand tools effectively for various tasks related to building and maintaining electrical systems
• Measure, cut, bend & install conduit & wire
• Install boxes & electrical devices
• Trace out short circuits
• Perform other project related duties assigned by crew leader or other senior electrician

Desired Qualifications:

• Must pass a drug screen
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid TDLR Apprentice License (or meet qualifications to obtain one)
• At least 1 year Commercial Electrical Experience preferred
• Have own hand tools; we will provide specialty tools

• Basic understanding of electrical principles and concepts

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
