Job Description Willamina Christian Church is seeking a lead pastor, to teach and preach God’s Word, and to lead and grow God’s church. Someone that shares our desire to reach out to our local communities and share the gospel. A firm understanding of the Restoration Movement is essential. We are a non-denominational Elder led Christian Church. Our rural communities are rapidly growing, with a blend of timber industry, agriculture, and bedroom community for neighboring cities. The current congregation size is approximately 50 to 60. Willamina is located in close proximity to the Oregon Coast, the greater Willamette Valley, the Cascade Mountains and within easy reach of large metro areas. Requirements/Responsibilities To teach and preach to the church body. Share the Gospel. Connect with the community and minister to those in need. Be thoughtful, biblical and relational; with the ability and enthusiasm needed to build and grow our congregation. To guide our focus of advancing the Kingdom locally and supporting the global mission field. This requires: Authentic discipleship, Relevant preaching, and Spiritual maturity to lead our congregation to fulfill the Great Commission.
