Quality Control Inspector I Monday Friday 7:00 AM 4:00 PM $21.00 Pending Experience Longwood, FL
Job Description: The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for upholding product quality standards by inspecting and accepting or rejecting products, materials, and articles. Key duties include:
- Identifying and documenting non-conformances to engineering specifications and standards
- Notifying the appropriate personnel of potential product/material rejection
- Reporting discrepancies to supervision and management
- Documenting inspection results by completing detailed reports and logs for multiple product lines
- Performing mathematical functions such as weight measurements, torque conversions, and dimensional measurements
- Ensuring measurement equipment is properly maintained and accurately functioning
- Conducting visual inspections, continuity, and/or resistance testing on various cables, harnesses, and connectors
- Measuring machined products using comparators, calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, and other visual measurement devices
- Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by following all standards and procedures
- Tracking and recording job progress and any deficiencies daily in written and electronic formats
- Accurately logging product information, traceability requirements, labor hours, and other statistics into company databases to adhere to compliance requirements
