Field Service Technician (Appliance Repair) - New Orleans, LA We are seeking a Field Service Technician (DMST) located in the New Orleans, LA metro area to serve customers across New Orleans, Metairie, Slidell, and surrounding areas. Responsibilities Travel offsite to customer locations to perform maintenance and repair of LG's equipment. Properly use all safety equipment (PPE), vehicle and diagnostic tools provided by LG. Conduct technical diagnosis and perform specialized repairs on a variety of electronics and home appliances. Diagnose problems, assess the extent of the problem, document findings, and decide whether to repair the product or replace parts. Immediately and accurately process paperwork and perform data entry upon completion of each job. Pre‑screen next day service calls by obtaining necessary information to help diagnose problems before arriving at the customer's home. Meet or exceed company metrics (customer satisfaction, fix‑right‑first-time, revisits, parts management, OT %). Qualifications and Requirements Minimum 1 year experience in a technical role, preferably field service. Experience repairing major appliances (refrigeration/sealed systems, cooking, cleaning products). Experience using tools and diagnostic test equipment. Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and document product/system issues. Valid Driver’s license in good standing. Ability to obtain appropriate EPA Certification. Meet physical requirements such as continuous bending and lifting up to 50 pounds. Compensation $24.25 - $28.25 USD per hour.
