Product Safety Engineer

Eurofins seeks a Product Safety Engineer to perform testing and evaluation of renewable energy products against international safety standards. This entry-level role offers mentorship from senior engineers and develops expertise in product safety testing, inverters, battery systems, and EV equipment.
Responsibilities
- Read and determine applicability of national codes and standards for equipment under test
- Set up, operate, and perform testing of products per applicable standards
- Compile test results, data, and product descriptions to prepare final reports
- Communicate project status and test results to clients, sales, and management
- Cross-train on renewable energy testing disciplines with senior engineer guidance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline
- 0-2 years of experience; recent graduates encouraged
- Valid, unrestricted driver's license with clean driving record
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 15% as needed
Compensation: $68,000-$88,000
