Product Safety Engineer

Eurofins seeks a Product Safety Engineer to conduct testing and compliance evaluations for electrical and medical devices against international safety standards. The role involves executing test plans, preparing technical documentation, and communicating with clients at a testing laboratory in Littleton, MA.

Responsibilities

• Execute test plans and perform compliance testing per IEC standards
• Complete technical reports and test documentation for equipment evaluation
• Conduct electrical, thermal, mechanical, and safety hazard testing
• Determine applicability of safety standards for products under test
• Communicate project status and findings to customers and internal teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent work experience
• 1-4 years of product safety testing or NRTL laboratory experience
• Working knowledge of IEC 62368-1 and IEC 61010-1 standards
• Ability to read schematics and manufacturing documentation
• Valid U.S. driver's license and work authorization
• Willingness to travel up to 15% as needed

Compensation: $75,000-$100,000
