Working Pattern F ixed 4 on 3 off shift pattern - 7pm to 5am About The Role Working Pattern F ixed 4 on 3 off shift pattern - 7pm to 5am (Various patterns available, which will be discussed to at interview) As a Cleaner at OCS, you will play a crucial role in cleaning/disinfecting production equipment and areas to the required food safety, hygiene and Health & Safety standards. Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Clean and disinfect production equipment, floors, walls, drains and surrounding areas. Follow cleaning instructions, CICs and hygiene schedules. Use cleaning chemicals correctly and at the required dilution. Dismantle and reassemble equipment where trained to do so. Complete allocated cleaning and deep-cleaning tasks to the required standard. Pay attention to difficult-to-clean and high-risk areas. Follow food safety, hygiene, COSHH and Health & Safety procedures. Use PPE and cleaning equipment correctly. Complete required hygiene documentation. Report damaged equipment, missing parts, mould, leaks, drainage issues or other concerns. Immediately report anything that cannot be cleaned or completed to the required standard. Correct any cleaning issues identified during inspections. Work effectively with other Hygiene, Production and Engineering team members. Attend required training and briefings. The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria: Good attention to detail. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Follow instructions and procedures. Work safely and responsibly. Take ownership of allocated cleaning tasks. Report problems rather than leaving them unresolved. Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety. The Hygiene Operative is responsible for ensuring their allocated area is clean, disinfected, safe and ready for production.
