Associate Engineering Data Scientist Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Global Services (BGS) Engineering team, P-8 Sustainment program, is seeking an Associate Engineering Data Scientist to join our dynamic team leading the way in Integrated Health Management Systems (IHMS) in Tukwila, Washington. Our engineers work in a highly dynamic environment collecting data, analyzing data and making actionable recommendations to enable critical product improvements and support decisions. Position Responsibilities: Performs data analysis integral to the research, development, test and evaluation of company products or manufacturing processes Investigates and applies best fit methods and algorithms, validates results and performs necessary data preparation and enhancements to models Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement 3+ years of experience in a technical or engineering field Experience developing and testing software products in a cloud computing environment Education or experience in computational problem solving or data analytics (e.g. software development with C++, Java, or Python) Experience with Tableau or similar data analytics tools Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience in a role that requires strong written and oral communication skills Experience working in engineering change management Experience providing engineering support to aircraft production systems Union: This is a union-represented position.
