Senior Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established and growing organization seeking a Senior Accountant to join its accounting team. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of the month-end close process, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and operational accounting activities across multiple business units. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Manage the monthly close process, including general ledger maintenance and journal entry preparation. Prepare and distribute monthly financial statements and management reporting packages. Perform monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. Coordinate intercompany reconciliations and settlements. Support cash flow reporting and distribution schedules. Review and analyze invoices and operating expenses. Prepare reporting packages for investors, lenders, and key stakeholders. Assist with internal controls compliance, SOX-related activities, and external audits. Support property tax filings and other regulatory reporting requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes and provide backup support across the department. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and account reconciliations. Experience managing multiple entities and complex close processes. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. Self-starter with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
