Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Expertise in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nursing
• Familiarity with surgical procedures, sterile technique, and patient monitoring
• Ability to collaborate effectively in high-pressure situations
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• Prior travel nursing experience is a plus, but not mandatory

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative patient assessments
• Ensure optimal patient care by adhering to CVOR protocols and safety standards
• Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams throughout procedures
• Educate patients and their families on care plans and recovery steps
