As a Security Guard Armed Full Time Patrol in Atlanta, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at government locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned government buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and assist with visitor management and entry procedures.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, maintain required activity logs, and communicate observations and concerns to appropriate personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
