Remote Mobile Service TechnicianWe are seeking a skilled and self-motivated Remote Mobile Service Technician to deliver high-quality vehicle maintenance and repair services directly to customers at their homes, workplaces, or designated locations. This role combines technical expertise with customer-facing service, representing Ford’s commitment to convenience, innovation, and excellence.Key Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance and light repair services on Ford and competitive make vehicles (e.g., oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, recalls, and software updates) at customer locationsDiagnose mechanical and electrical issues using mobile diagnostic toolsCommunicate clearly with customers about vehicle condition, recommended services, and timelinesManage daily schedule, travel routes, and service appointments efficientlyMaintain and organize a fully equipped mobile service vehicleAccurately document services performed, parts used, and customer interactions via digital systemsFollow all safety protocols and company standardsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent (ASE certification preferred)2+ years of automotive technician experience (Ford experience a plus)Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skillsValid driver’s license with a clean driving recordAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionComfortable using tablets, mobile apps, and diagnostic softwareStrong customer service and communication skillsPreferred Skills:Experience with mobile or field service operationsFamiliarity with Ford systems, tools, and service proceduresEV (Electric Vehicle) maintenance knowledge is a plusPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 50 lbsComfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditionsFrequent standing, bending, and kneelingBenefits:Competitive pay (hourly + performance incentives)Company-provided mobile service vehicle and toolsHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidaysOngoing training and certification opportunitiesWhy Join Ford?Join a forward-thinking team that is redefining automotive service through mobility and convenience.
