Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery Tahlequah, OK Specialty: L&D Position Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Pay: $1894 - $2282 | Shift: 3x12 Nights Are you a compassionate Labor & Delivery nurse seeking your next rewarding opportunity? Do you excel in providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns in a dynamic environment? Join our healthcare partner in Tahlequah, OK, where you can make a meaningful impact in a small, supportive unit. As an OB nurse, you will be involved in various aspects of maternal and newborn care, including Labor & Delivery, Mother Baby, Newborn Nursery, and Couplet Care. You will also have the opportunity to work with Gynecology surgery patients and may float to Med/Surg when needed. In this role, you will:
- Provide comprehensive care for laboring patients, triages, and mother-baby care
- Collaborate with LPNs to ensure high-quality patient support and documentation
- Perform initial assessments and validate them as the baby nurse
- Assist with vitals, medication administration, and other duties within your scope
- Utilize excellent support and resources available in the unit
- Current BLS, NRP, and Fetal Heart Monitoring certifications
- Need 1 year experience in setting
