Seasonal Contract RN - Labor and Delivery
This is a 13-week contract position.
Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating weekends with no call requirements.
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses for our Labor and Delivery unit. The ideal candidates will possess a strong clinical background and be proficient in managing labor and delivery care, ensuring exceptional patient experiences. Our unit is equipped with advanced technologies and offers a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care during labor and delivery.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vitals using EFM and other technologies.
- Assist with procedures such as SVD, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC.
- Ensure adherence to clinical guidelines and unit policies.
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Must hold a current RN license.
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE.
- 2+ years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Competency in EFM, C-Section circulation, and SVE.
- Preferred: internal monitor placement competency; experience in a Level IV unit.
