Roadway Project Manager EngineerColumbus, Ohio, United StatesSalary: $100,000.00We have partnered with a civil engineering firm in the Columbus, OH area to provide them with a Roadway Project Manager Engineer. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Roadway Project Manager Engineer:#1. Must have PE License, licensed in Indiana/Ohio#4. Must have a valid drivers license.#5. No more than three jobs in the past 10 years.Responsibilities of the Roadway Project Manager Engineer:Management of Roadway projects including coordination with client, prime, and sub consultant as a team.Design of Roadway projects including horizontal alignment, vertical alignment, drainage design, ditch profile, guardrail calculations and super elevation diagrams.Design, manage, and supervise staff on roadway projects.Supervise the design and prepare plans for various roadway projects.Review or assist in preparing CAD drawings using GEOPAK, INROADS, Open Roads and MICROSTATION.Supervise staff developing construction plans from engineering design calculations.Supervise or perform quantity calculations and cost estimate for projects.Supervise/Design and prepare erosion control plans.Supervise the design for the preparation of plans for traffic, signals, intersection design, lighting and signing design.Supervise the preparation of maintenance of traffic plans for roadway projects.Attend various meetings such as field check, public information/involvement, hearing/meetings, and pre-construction.Requirements of the Roadway Project Manager Engineer:Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE).PE License, licensed in Indiana/Ohio.10-15 years of experience in roadway design.Experience preparing roadway plans for DOT projects.Experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.A valid driver's license is required.Must be highly organized and detail oriented.Possess excellent time management skills.Prior project management experience is a plus, but not required.Other Key Requirements:100% onsite, in-office workNo sponsorships or visa holders.
