Business Intelligence Architect/Lead

Business Intelligence Architect Apex Systems is currently hiring a Business Intelligence Architect supporting a large Government client. In this role, you will help build an executive-level "single pane of glass" dashboarding experience using Grafana, integrating data from ServiceNow, Splunk, and other operational systems to support real-time observability across the organization. Project Details / Mission Supported: Lead the buildout of a centralized Grafana dashboarding environment to support executive-level visibility and operational monitoring. Develop, design, and maintain dashboards using Grafana and ServiceNow for real-time data visualization. Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to gather requirements and define meaningful KPIs, metrics, and dashboard insights. Build and configure back-end integrations between Grafana and multiple data sources, including ServiceNow, Splunk, and other operational systems. Support the transition from Power BI to Grafana by improving existing visualizations and creating scalable dashboard solutions. Optimize dashboard user experience by ensuring visualizations are intuitive, actionable, and aligned to stakeholder needs. Provide technical expertise and support for assessing, enhancing, and maintaining existing dashboard solutions. Qualified candidates will have the following experience and skills: Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Top Secret/SCI security clearance as a condition of employment. (sponsorship unavailable) CompTIA Security+ certification required. 3–5 years of relevant web development, dashboarding, data visualization, or systems integration experience. Bachelor's degree required. Experience setting up and configuring dashboards that ingest data from multiple sources. Familiarity with APIs and integrations to enable data ingestion. Strong communication and documentation skills with the ability to work closely with technical and business stakeholders. Experience with ServiceNow and Grafana desired. Knowledge of SQL and scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript desired. Experience with DevOps tools and cloud monitoring platforms desired.
