Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical assessments and comprehensive reviews of medical histories
• Assist in evaluating and diagnosing surgical conditions through the analysis of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work directly with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical treatment plans
• Offer intraoperative assistance by preparing surgical environments, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and passing instruments during procedures
• Provide exceptional care before and after surgery, encompassing medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and education for patients

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited PA program
• Clinical rotation experience with a focus on surgical care is highly preferred

Certifications Required

• Current and valid PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required
• Possession of a state-issued Physician Assistant license (or eligibility therein)
