Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Stryker, you will:

• Evaluate patients referred by healthcare providers by conducting comprehensive assessments to identify physical limitations and rehabilitation goals.
• Create and implement personalized treatment plans that align with the physician's plan of care, focusing on restoring function through various interventions.
• Utilize diverse treatment techniques for a variety of specialties, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurological, and sports medicine cases.
• Provide both in-clinic and home-based therapy to maximize patient engagement and comfort.
• Consult, educate, and empower patients and their families to understand their conditions and the rehabilitative process.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records following legal and regulatory standards, including meeting productivity requirements.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care and to elevate patient outcomes through shared goal-setting.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will engage with a diverse clientele ranging from young athletes to elderly patients recovering from surgery. Your expertise will guide patients through their individual rehabilitation journeys, ensuring they receive tailored care that meets their unique needs and conditions.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapy license in the State of Florida.
• Graduation from an APTA or CAPTE-approved physical therapy program.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong skills in both verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency with computers and basic documentation software.
• A demonstrated ability to build rapport with patients and a proactive approach to addressing their needs.

Preferred Experience

At least two years of clinical experience in a relevant setting is preferred, although we welcome applicants with less experience who demonstrate a strong commitment to learning and patient care. Experience with evidence-based practices and a background in specialized areas of therapy will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

Our compensation package for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, complemented by a comprehensive benefits plan that includes:
