Maintenance Technician

Utilize maintenance system for creating and completing work orders. Control downtime by informing operation workers of routine preventative maintenance and operation techniques and monitoring compliance. Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment preventative maintenance. Follow all plant safety procedures and guidelines without exception. Carry out maintenance process per supervisor instructions expeditiously and perform tasks in a professional manner. Support workflows, effective layout, and optimum process conditions. Provide preventive maintenance (P.M.) for facilities equipment and production equipment. Suggest modifications and improvements to PM. Accurately document time and materials on PM forms or work orders. Determine possible maintenance problems, identify, and repair. Monitor equipment performance. Notify supervision of deviations to normal speeds. Review production fixtures and provide input. Review and provide input on new facility equipment. Support cost savings programs for the manufacturing site. Support housekeeping programs for the manufacturing site. Requirements Must have Journeyman’s card or at least five years of experience and working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatics. High School diploma or equivalent.
