Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Surgery Center

The Registered Nurse ASC is responsible for providing patient care in a primary nursing area within an ambulatory surgery center, functioning effectively as part of a team. They assist with daily operations, including turnover and cross-training in various primary areas, and coordinate the telephone pre-admission assessments for patients. Qualifications Include Education: 2-year/associate degree required; 4-year/bachelor's preferred, from an accredited nursing school. Experience: At least one year in ASC, PACU, or operating room preferred. Licensure/Certification: Current RN license in the appropriate state; ACLS and PALS preferred. Skills: Strong understanding of RN roles per the NC nurse practice act, ability to prioritize and organize workload, adapt care based on patient age, interpret patient information, and proficient telephone screening and interviewing skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
