Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER) | Bossier City, LA | 12H Night Shifts

• Required Licenses/Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI or MOAB
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years ER or emergency department experience

What You'll Do:

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population
• Manage patients with varying acuity levels, including trauma, cardiac, neuro, and med-surg cases
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, manage ventilators and critical drips, and perform assessments like stroke evaluation and conscious sedation
• Collaborate with charge nurses and multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and timely interventions
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech Expanse EMR system
• Assist in procedures such as splinting, drainage management, and administering emergency medications
• Support the unit's commitment to professionalism and patient-centered care

What You Need:

• Valid RN license in Louisiana or the ability to obtain one quickly
• At least 2 years of ER or acute care experience
• Strong skills in cardiac monitoring, ventilator management, and emergency procedures
• Ability to pass an EKG competency exam prior to start if required
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
