Field Marketing Manager, Public Sector

For our client, we are seeking a Field Marketing Manager Public Sector to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will drive marketing initiatives focused on growth, customer acquisition, brand performance, and measurable demand creation. You will collaborate with analytics, product, creative, and commercial teams to turn market insights into scalable campaigns, testing strategies, and performance improvements. The position offers the opportunity to directly influence customer engagement, conversion performance, and revenue growth within a life sciences environment. Location: San Francisco, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $320,000 – $400,000 annually Responsibilities Create and execute a comprehensive field marketing strategy for the US Public Sector Design and implement events tailored to public sector regulations and stakeholder needs Align field marketing activities with the government fiscal calendar for optimal impact Oversee participation in major public sector events, including sponsorship and execution Establish co-marketing initiatives with public sector partners and resellers Collaborate with sales leaders for targeted outreach before, during, and after events Develop scalable operational playbooks for event execution and follow-up Qualifications 5-10 years in field marketing specifically targeting the public sector Demonstrated hands-on experience in developing field marketing strategies from scratch Proven success in driving impactful marketing programs across multiple organizations Experience working closely with sales teams on pre- and post-event engagements Strong operational skills in vendor management and ROI measurement Technical aptitude to engage with technical content and audiences Benefits Flexible work policy with the option for remote and hybrid arrangements Opportunity to influence strategies in a fast-growing sector Access to unique networking opportunities within the public sector Support for professional development and thought leadership contributions Visa sponsorship available for eligible candidates Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
