Manufacturing Project Manager

Manufacturing Project Manager (Contract – 6 to 18 Months) Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Project Manager to lead and coordinate complex manufacturing initiatives across multiple U.S. operations. This role will manage cross-functional projects involving manufacturing operations, engineering, supply chain, quality, and plant leadership to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate is a certified PMP with a strong background managing large-scale manufacturing projects in fast-paced industrial environments. This individual must be highly organized, execution-oriented, and comfortable driving alignment across multiple stakeholders and locations. This is a contract engagement expected to last approximately 6–18 months, with flexibility on work location within the United States. Key operational sites include NJ; SC; MI; and KY. --- Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex manufacturing and operational projects from initiation through execution and closeout
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including manufacturing, engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, procurement, and plant leadership
• Drive project governance, status reporting, issue resolution, and stakeholder communication
• Ensure alignment between business objectives, operational priorities, and project execution
• Identify project risks and proactively implement mitigation plans
• Track project performance metrics and communicate progress to executive leadership and site stakeholders
• Facilitate meetings, project reviews, and decision-making processes across multiple facilities
• Support change management and operational readiness activities associated with manufacturing initiatives
• Maintain compliance with internal standards, safety requirements, and operational best practices

--- Required Qualifications

• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification required
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline preferred
• 7+ years of project management experience within complex manufacturing environments
• Proven success managing large-scale, cross-functional manufacturing or operational projects
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, engineering processes, and plant environments
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders across geographically dispersed facilities
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong proficiency with project management tools and methodologies
• Ability to travel to manufacturing sites as needed

• Spanish language proficiency is a plus
• Experience working in multi-site manufacturing organizations
• Background in highly regulated, industrial, or process manufacturing environments preferred
