Registered Nurse - Acute Rehab Unit

Part Time Midnights (48-60hours bi-weekly) w/ every 3rd weekend. 

• 5% Market Pay Differential
• $2 Weekend Differential
• Sign On Bonus: $6,666
• Schedule:  Part-Time 7am - 7:30pm Monday thru Friday & every 3rd weekend

Acute Rehab is a 20 bed unit. Rehab focus.

What You Will Do :

• Coordinate a multi-disciplinary plan of care to ensure appropriate length of stay, resource use, and quality outcomes.
• Provide patient care that respects individual rights, dignity, values, and cultural preferences.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, safety measures, and self-care.
• Administer medications, IVs, and blood products according to established policies.
• Monitor patient responses to interventions and adjust care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with case managers to ensure appropriate referrals and discharge plans.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Uses independent professional judgment, analytical skills, and the nursing process to provide a full range of delegated, interdependent, and independent nursing services to patients. Within the framework of the Seven Dimensions of Patient Care and Benner's Domains of Nursing Practice, demonstrates clinical competence; compassion and customer service orientation; focus on process and outcomes; and cost-consciousness when assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care provided to patients.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained within 2 Months (60 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. 
• Certified BLS Provider specializing in Basic Life Support credentialed from the   American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Or Certified Instructor.
• Education: Requires a graduate of an approved professional (RN) nursing program.
