Forty percent of your time is spent in direct 1-on-1 and small-group coaching sessions that identify obstacles and establish ambitious objectives. Another forty percent involves facilitating structured life-skills workshops designed for mastery rather than engagement. The final twenty percent is dedicated to morning kickoffs that set a daily tone where mediocrity has no place. The trajectory here emphasizes depth over management. What You Will Be Doing Conducting 1-on-1 and small-group coaching sessions that leverage Coachbot analytics and student performance data to identify obstacles, establish ambitious objectives, and ensure accountability for execution Facilitating structured life-skills workshops focused on mastery, drawing on credible narratives from your own elite achievements, and evaluating mastery through Alpha's Test2Pass framework Establishing the campus cultural standard each morning via focused kickoffs that reinforce expectations for high performance Monitoring student progress continuously and modifying coaching approaches based on data rather than intuition Cultivating trusted mentor relationships with students and their families through consistency, high standards, and documented motivation strategies What You Won’t Be Doing Delivering lessons, creating curriculum, or grading work — Alpha's AI-powered academic system manages instruction; your focus is motivation Presenting to a classroom of 30 students (your work is intensive coaching in small settings, not large-group teaching) Overseeing other staff or pursuing an administrative career path (this role centers on direct student impact, not organizational advancement) Attending faculty meetings or navigating institutional bureaucracy (your time remains concentrated on students) Compromising standards to meet metrics (if a student achieved 99%, your task is to determine what prevented 100%) Student Excellence Coach Key Responsibilities Lead exceptional student motivation, development, and life‑skill mastery at Alpha's most demanding campuses.
