Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients in either inpatient or outpatient settings and devise personalized treatment plans
• Deliver physical therapy interventions centered on enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Collaborate effectively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation experts to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families through therapeutic goals, discharge planning, and home exercise regimens
• Maintain accurate documentation regarding evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in compliance with regulatory standards
• Participate in interdisciplinary care rounds and conferences to maintain synchronized care delivery

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a related degree from an accredited program

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Specialized certifications (such as neurologic or geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory

Skills

• Prior experience is strongly favored
