Daily Engagements
- Assess patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments, crafting personalized treatment plans
- Administer physical therapy initiatives concentrated on mobility, strength, balance, and functionality
- Collaborate with nurses, doctors, case managers, and additional rehab professionals for optimal outcomes
- Guide patients and their families through therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and home exercise regimens
- Maintain documentation regarding evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in adherence with facility and regulatory protocols
- Engage in care team meetings and interdisciplinary discussions to ensure seamless coordination of care
Education
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a comparable degree from an accredited institution
Certifications
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- CPR certification preferred
- Specialty certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not essential
Skills
- Prior experience is highly recommended
- Capability to assist patients facing intricate medical and mobility challenges
- Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities
- Familiarity with digital charting and clinical documentation platforms
