Shift: 5:00 AM-3:30 PM

Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Operator I to support the production of high-quality medical devices within a manufacturing cell. The selected candidate will work under close supervision and perform routine assembly, repair, and testing of catheters and related medical device assemblies.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable following detailed procedures, handling small components, maintaining accurate documentation, and working in a regulated manufacturing environment.


Key Responsibilities

• Perform assembly, repair, and testing of catheters and medical device components.
• Follow standardized work instructions, SOPs, and verbal instructions.
• Maintain accurate production, traveler, and quality documentation.
• Ensure all parts are properly identified and traceable.
• Operate electronic data collection systems and computer software.
• Handle and maneuver small components with precision.
• Follow all safety procedures and use required safety equipment.
• Communicate production issues, ideas, and solutions to management.
• Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
• Support Lean Manufacturing activities and cell performance goals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area.
• Support QMS, EMS, and other regulatory requirements.
• Prioritize work based on production requirements and deadlines.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written procedures.
• Ability to follow verbal instructions accurately.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Ability to prioritize and organize work.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to make routine decisions with minimal supervision.

Preferred Experience

• Medical device manufacturing or assembly.
• Catheter manufacturing.
• Cleanroom or regulated manufacturing experience.
• Lean Manufacturing experience.
• Quality documentation and traceability.
• Electronic production/data collection systems.

Work Environment & Dress Requirements
This position requires working in a controlled manufacturing environment with strict cleanliness and gowning requirements.

• Clothing must be clean, non-shedding, and free of loose threads, frayed hems, tassels, glitter, sequins, or similar materials.
• Sweaters, fleece, loose-knit, and loose-fiber garments are not permitted.
• Closed-toe and closed-heel shoes are required; heels may not exceed 2 inches.
• Socks or stockings are required.
• Torso, upper arms, and legs must be covered.
• Sleeveless tops and short shirts are not permitted.
• Nail polish, acrylic/artificial nails, makeup, and eyelash extensions are not permitted.
• Jewelry or piercings that cannot be safely covered are not permitted.
• Hats, scarves, and bandanas are not permitted under the bouffant unless specifically approved.
• Loose-fitting clothing is not permitted around machinery or soldering/brazing equipment.
