Job Details Compensation: Hourly base pay range of $17 per hour plus tips, with a $1 shift differential for overnight shifts. Work Schedule: Monday through Sunday. Summary The Hospitality Service Ambassador is a multi‑service role supporting primarily guest‑facing services in common areas of a hotel and in partnership with multiple hotel departments. The role includes events & banquets (non F&B), resort guest services (pool, beach, golf), lobby and front desk, VIP club and restaurant (non F&B), based on hotel needs and requirements. Essential Functions Greets guests in the lobby in a friendly manner and identifies and fulfills their needs. Assists visitors with directions, information and inquiries in person and by phone, practicing proper client and Towne Park etiquette. Delivers messages, packages, food and other items to guest rooms. Supports special events/banquets, resort services, VIP club support and restaurant host duties. Provides guests with information about meeting room amenities and facility attractions. Maintains and cleans the designated lobby station and baggage carts. Keeps lobby doors and windows clean of handprints when traffic is low. May support room‑service deliveries and host/table‑busing duties. Ensures guest and business confidentiality is always maintained. Communicates guest needs to corresponding departments. Reports incidents of guest dissatisfaction to the account manager for corrective action. Uses only trained equipment and operates all equipment safely. Performs additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or GED. Licensure / Certification: Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a criminal background and drug screen. Work Experience: One to three months of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge: Familiarity with equipment such as telephones, codes and alarms, two‑way radios, disaster phone, fire panel and surveillance system. Skills: Ability to read and write standard English, comprehend simple instructions, write correspondence, analyze information, solve problems, and communicate verbally and in writing. Additional: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends; ability to work independently and prioritize tasks. Scope Authority to Act: Job is routine; decisions are made within specific operational instructions and departmental guidelines. Budget Responsibility: Employee has control only over resources available. Working Conditions & Physical Demands The employee frequently sits or stands for extended periods, may run, walk, handle objects, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Required vision includes close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and focus adjustment. Lifting requirements include exerting up to 50 lbs occasionally, up to 25 lbs frequently, or greater than 10 lbs constantly to move objects.
