Overview:

CACI seeks an experienced Endpoint Engineer - InTune for a critical role supporting the United States Secret Service (USSS) contract within the Department of Homeland Security. This position strengthens federal IT infrastructure by leading modern endpoint management, cloud integration, and security automation across enterprise systems serving national security missions.

\n

You will be part of a dynamic team of Systems and Desktop Engineers and security specialists, driving the administration and evolution of Microsoft Intune, SCCM/MECM, and Azure-based endpoint solutions. As a technical leader, you'll bridge on-premises and cloud environments—implementing hybrid identity solutions, automating deployments, and ensuring compliance with federal security standards while maintaining operational excellence.

This role combines hands-on technical engineering (Intune policy management, application deployment, device compliance, scripting automation) with strategic leadership (designing cloud-native solutions, mentoring junior engineers, driving adoption of emerging technologies). Working across endpoint management and server operations teams, you'll ensure adherence to customer SLAs, accelerate deployment cycles through automation, and reduce operational workload by implementing modern cloud-based management solutions.

Responsibilities

\n

\n

Microsoft Intune & Endpoint Management

\n

• Lead Microsoft Intune administration and engineering, including policy creation and management, application deployment, device compliance, and conditional access configurations

\n

• Implement and manage Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune + SCCM) for comprehensive endpoint management

\n

• Manage device enrollment, policy management, application deployment, compliance enforcement, and conditional access across the enterprise

\n

• Administer InTune AutoPilot for modern device provisioning and deployment

\n

\n

Hybrid Cloud & Identity Solutions

\n

• Design and implement hybrid cloud solutions leveraging Azure AD and on-premises Active Directory for seamless identity management

\n

• Utilize Azure Automation and Intune to manage and secure cloud-based and on-premises Windows workstations and servers, ensuring they are patched to correct levels

\n

• Develop and maintain Azure-based system templates and images for rapid deployment

\n

\n

Systems Administration & Engineering

\n

• Manage and maintain Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 systems and Windows 11 PC images in both Azure and on-premises environments

\n

• Identify, analyze, and resolve system problems with both short-term workarounds and long-term cloud-based solutions

\n

• Perform expertise in MDT and SCCM including capturing images (.WIM), creating packages, advertisements, task sequences, operating system deployment (OSD), and queries

\n

• Support SCCM software packaging and patching across the enterprise

\n

\n

Automation & Scripting

\n

• Write advanced PowerShell scripts and leverage Azure Functions to automate systems administration tasks across cloud and on-premises environments

\n

• Develop automation solutions to customize configurations and streamline operational tasking

\n

Security & Compliance

\n

• Design and implement Azure-based security solutions, including Azure Security Center and Azure Sentinel

\n

• Execute IAVA process including CYBERCOM release process, testing, approval, and deployment processes

\n

• Manage Active Directory Security Groups, OUs, DNS, and GPO management to enforce security policies

\n

• Implement and maintain certificate-based authentication and VPN solutions

\n

\n

Leadership & Collaboration

\n

• Provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced cloud and systems engineers

\n

• Collaborate across endpoint management and server operations teams to drive automation and cloud-native solutions

\n

• Test and evaluate new/emerging technologies to deliver faster deployments and decreased workload

\n

\n

Required Skills & Experience

\n

• Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance

\n

• Bachelor's degree + 13 years of applicable experience (equivalencies: 19 years no degree, AA + 15 years, MA + 10 years)

\n

• Minimum 5+ years SCCM experience supporting software packaging and patching

\n

• Minimum 5+ years InTune AutoPilot administration experience

\n

• Strong working knowledge of SCCM and Intune including device enrollment, policy management, application deployment, compliance enforcement, and conditional access

\n

• Solid understanding of VMware vCenter virtualization platform

\n

• Functional understanding of Microsoft SQL Server and Active Directory

\n

• Expertise in MDT and SCCM: capturing images (.WIM), creating packages, advertisements, task sequences, operating system deployment (OSD), and queries

\n

• Solid knowledge of PowerShell scripting to automate tasking and customize configurations

\n

• Expertise with IAVA process including CYBERCOM release process, testing, approval, and deployment processes

\n

• Solid knowledge of Active Directory Security Groups, OUs, DNS, and GPO management

\n

• Solid Windows troubleshooting skills across server and desktop environments

\n

• Strong understanding of networking concepts including VPN and certificate-based authentication

\n

• Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate certification

\n

• SCCM Certified
