Responsibilities Perform high-quality echocardiograms to support the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions Evaluate patients and adapt imaging techniques to obtain accurate diagnostic results Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure exceptional patient care Review and communicate imaging findings according to established protocols Prioritize patient safety, comfort, and a positive care experience throughout each exam Maintain accurate documentation and complete required exam-related processes Assist with equipment care, troubleshooting, and quality assurance activities Support department accreditation, quality improvement initiatives, and continuous professional development Maintain required certifications and stay current with industry standards Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited sonography or radiography program. License(s)/Certification(s): Current certification as one of the following: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) #J-18808-Ljbffr UnityPoint Health
