Senior Drupal Developer
vTech Solution
The Senior Drupal Developer will lead the hands-on configuration, customization, development, integration, migration support, and optimization of the proposed Drupal platform for SGF.
Key Responsibilities
Configure Drupal; develop custom modules, themes, templates, and reusable components; implement structured content types, taxonomies, roles, permissions, and approval workflows; build and consume REST APIs; integrate flight information, booking, GIS, notifications, authentication, analytics, search, and other services; support content migration; implement accessible responsive functionality; conduct code reviews; resolve defects; support deployments; and prepare technical documentation.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Seven or more years of web development experience.
- Five or more years of Drupal development experience.
- Strong experience with Drupal 9, Drupal 10, or the current supported Drupal version.
- Experience developing custom Drupal modules, themes, content models, workflows, and integrations.
- Experience supporting enterprise, municipal, government, transportation, or other public-facing websites.
Required Skills
Drupal, PHP, Symfony, Twig, Composer, Drush, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, responsive development, REST/JSON APIs, Git, configuration management, content migration, enterprise search, security updates, performance optimization, automated testing, and WCAG-compliant development.
Relevant Experience
Experience implementing content-rich Drupal websites with reusable components, complex integrations, migration, content workflows, search, accessibility, and responsive design. Aviation website development experience within the last three years with project descriptions and links is strongly preferred.
Preferred Certifications
Acquia Certified Drupal Developer, Acquia Certified Drupal Back-End Specialist, Acquia Certified Drupal Front-End Specialist, or Acquia Certified Drupal Grand Master.
